``Pay it Forward``
Your Lindsay Peewee BB Muskies have been very busy between games. These amazing grade 6 & 7 boys have come to realize how fortunate they are, and are doing a lot of volunteer work this season to ``pay it forward`` in their community. What a great group of young men who are excelling both on and off the ice!
Some of the activities they have been doing:
Volunteering at our women`s shelter sanding and painting benches.
Fundraising for gifts for children at the shelter and wrapping them (with the Kawartha Coyotes).
Each player wrote a message in a Christmas Card to a Canadian Soldier overseas who cannot be home for Christmas.
Volunteering, visiting, and playing games with seniors at a nursing home. (December 22)
